Canadian International Development Agency (2001); assisted in the evaluation of proposed Caribbean social-infrastructure projects in relation to requirements under the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act; project locations included Jamaica, Guyana, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Grenada, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, and Saint Lucia

Canadian Urban Institute (1998); presented a course on Environmental Assessment procedures to representatives of ecological special-interest groups and the Parque Metropolitano de la Habana in Cuba; included theories of environmental assessment, analytical methods, practical application of assessment techniques, and report preparation; also included presentation of several international case histories of Environmental Assessment projects

Evergreen Foundation, Canadian Urban Institute, and the Parque Metropolitano de la Habana (1998); led a multi-disciplinary team of specialists in the environmental assessment of a tree and shrub nursery proposed for the Parque Metropolitano de la Habana in Cuba; the assessment was completed to the standards of the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and was subsequently accepted by that agency as "outstanding"

(1997 - 1998); contributed to preparation of Environmental Assessment documentation for a proposed concentrate pipeline, a powerline, an access road, and a marine port for a copper-zinc mine in Peru; included inspection of the proposed route in the Andes and the port site, assessment of net effects, and the preparation of a monitoring plan

Parque Metropolitano de la Habana (1997); completed a survey of fish communities and benthic invertebrates in the Almendares River in the Parque Metropolitano de la Habana in Cuba; was undertaken to establish baseline conditions for use in future monitoring, to acquire information for use in scoping future monitoring studies, and to assess survey and analytical methods appropriate for the study area
